What is Symbicort?

Are you tired and frustrated with the cost of your prescription medications? By ordering with True Canada Pharmacy, you can save up to 90% on the price of Symbicort. We are a safe, convenient and affordable option to expensive drug prices. Order online or call us 7 days a week.

Symbicort Inhaler (budesonide/formoterol) is a combination inhaler that is used to prevent and control the symptoms of both asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Budesonide is a corticosteroid that reduces irritation and swelling of the airways. Formoterol is a long-acting beta-agonist that helps to open the airways in your lungs. Symbicort is not a rescue inhaler and should not be used to relieve sudden asthma or bronchospasm attacks.

Always read the medication information and instructions before using this medication.
Always follow your doctor’s directions.

  • When using a Symbicort inhaler for the first time, or if it has been dropped or not used in over a week, prime your inhaler by spraying it away from your face.
  • Shake your Symbicort inhaler well for five seconds before each inhalation.
  • Symbicort is typically taken twice a day, twelve hours apart.
  • If your doctor has directed you to take more than one inhalation at a time, or if you also use any other inhalers, wait at least one minute between inhalations. Use Symbicort after any other inhalers.
  • Rinse your mouth with water and do not swallow after using Symbicort.
  • It may take over a week before your symptoms improve. Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve.
  • Symbicort is not a rescue inhaler and should not be used to relieve sudden bronchospasm or asthma attacks.
