What is Namenda?

Namenda (memantine) is a prescription medication that contains memantine. Namenda is used to treat dementia-related to Alzheimer’s disease and can improve awareness, memory, and the ability to perform daily functions. Memantine works by blocking and reducing the actions of natural chemicals in the brain.
